Ask for Wisdom!

Trust God

One night while Solomon was in Gibeon, the Lord God appeared to him in a dream and said, “Solomon, ask for anything you want, and I will give it to you.”

Solomon answered:

Lord God, I’m Your servant, and You’ve made me king in my father’s place. But I’m very young and know so little about being a leader. And now I must rule Your chosen people, even though there are too many of them to count. Please make me wise and teach me the difference between right and wrong. Then I will know how to rule Your people. If You don’t, there is no way I could rule this great nation of Yours.

(1 Kings 3:5-9 CEV)

Chosen on Purpose!

Chosen

“Before I created you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I set you apart; I made you a prophet to the nations.”

“Ah, Lord God,” I said, “I don’t know how to speak because I’m only a child.”

The Lord responded,

“Don’t say, ‘I’m only a child.’ Where I send you, you must go; what I tell you, you must say. Don’t be afraid of them, because I’m with you to rescue you,” declares the Lord.

(Jeremiah 1: 5-8 CEB)

“My plans aren’t your plans, nor are your ways My ways, says the Lord.
Just as the Heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My plans than your plans.” (Isaiah 55:8-9 CEB)

Amen!
